My name is Brandy Mikolas. I have taught Hatha yoga for over 3 years and am a registered yoga teacher through the Yoga Alliance. My classes generally flow through postures using meditative movement. I teach this meditation in motion using a challenging yet honoring approach. Striving to increase internal awareness, I encourage people to feel how their and minds and bodies respond to the pranayama (directing breath) and asanas (physical postures). Letting go of expectations and perceiving yoga as a continual growing process, both on and off the mat, are virtues I promote. I thrive off of working with people from all walks of life. Brandy also holds a B.S. in psychology and is currently working on a Pheonix Rising Yoga Therapy certification. She has experience incorporating holistic perspectives and methods on and off the yoga mat. |
